Underworld Evolution

Once again Kate Beckinsale plays the vampire heroine and rescues yet another film from being pretty mediocre. To be perfectly blunt, most scenes with Kate were decent. Most without her were not. Running at just about 100 minutes made the film just right in length. By the end of it you weren't left wanting more, you were left wanting to leave. Before I go too far with my barbed comments, let me say this. It was a good movie. There were some very entertaining parts to it (Kate Beckinsale) and not all of the scenery was transparently made of styrofoam. All in all Underworld Evolution was a decent film, although sadly unable to stand up to the quality of the first Underworld film.
