Beck "Guero"

Beck's most recent accomplishment, "Guero" is another great feast for the ears. I had heard from friends before making a purchase that there wasn't a poor song on the album. Coupled with a few brief moments with the title track "E-pro", I felt the money would be well spent. My hunch was right. There really ISN'T a bad track on the whole album. I think this is going to float at the top of my summertime itunes playlist for quite a while.

Cybernetic parrot sausage - acts of pure genius

I don't have much I can say about this. Just watch it. then wonder why you weren't the first one to do it.

Gorillaz - Demon Days

Just picked up Gorillaz new release today. "Demon Days" has quite a bit more to offer than just the already-played-to-death-on-MTV track "Feel Good inc.". I was so happy to hear MFDOOM and Dennis Hopper as guests on this album. Great choice gang. I'm giving this album a 4.5 out of 5. My only complaint is that it could have had a few more tracks. Wherever it is that they were taking me, I wanted to stay there longer. Cheers. WWW.GORILLAZ.COM

Thievery Corporation

Went to Thievery at the Roxy last nite. Worth the hefty price of $40. About a dozen professionals on one stage, tag teaming the crowd into quite the sweaty mass. Beautiful people. Deep beats. Big bass. Bodacious Brazilians (meeeow!) Check them out if you ever get the opportunity.

Crazed electronic musician attempts world domination

He hasn't updated his soundclick page since like January, but the music is still super-fresh. Check out ivewired he's one cool cat.

Best week ever for video games.

E3 just wrapped up. In case you don't know what E3 is, it's the gamer's annual feast of new, best, worst, and everything in between in the gaming world. Scantily clad babes hoisting shiny plastic goodness for all the sweaty heathens to salivate at. Give it a gander if that's your thing. E3 Insider | Home

White boy

I found this on everydaysketch It's my new favorite desktop. I think it also showcases some really excellent talent. Eugene I hope it's ok with you that I repost this here.

Deciduous - misplaced art.

Sometimes real art leaks onto the fringes of our pop-media. Newgrounds has always been a wonderful mainstay for sophomoric flash boobs and violence, which is why I was particularly surprised to see this cute little video pup up there. It's actually quite good. I think this shows something about a need for more popular/mainstream forums for independent animation.

Mmm. imported hardwood.

I think this is one of my most successful projects this year. Too bad I'm a metals major.

Stick a fork in me

'Cause I'm done! The univeristy art-machine has come to a grinding halt for a few precious months. I find myself trying to shake off the lurching feeling inside my head. I guess now I can get on with scrambling around in an attempt to make a living for a little while. I still wish I was at E3.

My eyeballs are bleeding

One more day. One more critique. then I can sleep. When I slumber I think I'll probably dream that I'm at E3. At least I hope I do. heh. And the new P3 contoller DOES look like some ugly boomerang-dildo. just in case you were wondering. God I hope they change that before release. Home stretch

So i'm in the midst of the last couple weeks of school. Full-on stress is the name of the game. When the dust clears I'll upload a gallery of this semester's work for everyone to point and laugh at.
